Tomato and bacon sauce
Ingredients: (4 servings)
120 gr fresh Italian bacon
1 onion
1 garlic clove
½ kg ripe tomatoes
Ginger
Olive oil
Salt
Preparation steps:
1. Finely chop the bacon and sauté with oil in low heat. Add the finely chopped onion and the clove of garlic. Let the garlic brown and take it out.
2. Add the finely chopped tomatoes (which have been previously peeled and their seeds removed). When the onion has turned brown, season with a bit of grated ginger. Keep cooking until the sauce is done.
